Can I use my own car during the final stage training?
Since 1 August 2011, the students can complete the training with their personal car by notifying us of their wish before the training begins. The requirement for completing the ECO-driving course with a personal vehicle is that the vehicle has an average fuel consumption meter which can be reset. The slippery track training can be completed with a personal vehicle only if it has all season tires. If the trainee participates in training with their own vehicle, they are responsible for any harmful consequences that arise from the actions or inaction of the trainee in connection with participating in training. The trainee confirms that they have the right to use the vehicle, and the vehicle has a valid technical inspection and insurance.

Can I complete the final stage training with a vehicle that has automatic transmission if I have a “regular” driving licence?
Yes, it possible to complete the final stage training with a vehicle that has automatic transmission, and when changing your driving licence later in the Transport Administration, the licence will be given no notes and you will retain the right to drive a vehicle with manual transmission.
Can I pay for the training in instalments? If yes then how large are the instalments and how long does it take to pay the entire sum?
Yes, it is possible by choosing “First instalment” when registering to the training. If you have payed the first instalment during registration, you can pay the rest of the sum according to how often you take driving lessons. Before booking a drive, you have to make sure that there is enough funds in the “wallet”.
What does it mean if I complete the training with a vehicle that has no clutch pedal (automatic transmission)? Can I drive any car in the future?
By completing the training and the exam with a vehicle that has automatic transmission (officially a vehicle without a clutch pedal), your licence will have a corresponding note and you cannot drive a vehicle that has manual transmission.
I have never driven a vehicle and I am afraid of the traffic. How long do I have to practice before driving in the city?
The curriculum requires at least 2 driving lessons on the learning field. In the case when the primary skills are not acquired during this time, it is possible to continue driving on the training field as long as it is necessary.
What happens when there is a traffic accident during the driving lesson? Who will compensate the damage?
Fortunately, the training vehicles are rarely in accidents that they caused, because there are two drivers that “drive” the car. When damage does happen in a traffic accident, the motor vehicle insurance will compensate the damages to the injured party, if the training vehicle was damaged then casco insurance will take care of it.
How much is an extra driving lesson?
An extra driving lesson costs the same as a regular driving lesson.
If I have a category B driving licence, is it easier to acquire category A licence?
If you have category B licence then the category A training is much shorter. For more information, see the category A further training page.
Can I complete the training with my own motorcycle?
No, because the motorcycle has to have the requirements of a training vehicle, and has to have passed a roadworthiness test.
There are several category A trainings, which should I choose?

How can I register to the training?
You can register online by choosing “Schedules and prices” and from there a suitable city and the training you want to complete. You will be asked to enter your personal information when you click NEXT on the suitable training. You can register only if you make an online payment. You can register in classrooms all over Estonia.
Where do the initial training driving lessons begin?
The first lessons will take place in our training fields; you can start city driving at a suitable place by arranging it with your instructor. The places where lessons usually start in Tallinn are Kadriorg, Mustamäe, Nõmme and Kristiine. In other cities we generally start the lessons near the school.
What can I expect from the initial stage training e-course?
The only difference from a regular training is that the theory course will be completed online at a time that is suitable for the student. For more information, read about e-courses on our website e-driving school.
How can the participants of the final stage training access Männiku slippery track.
Generally, these drivers already use their car every day and will arrive by themselves. However, if arriving that way is not possible, then you have to notify the trainer, you are given a phone number and you can arrange a suitable time when you are picked up near the last stop for Männiku buses, at the outdoor cafe called “Männiku Kann”. Buses No. 5 and No. 33 will take you to the last stop of Männiku. Then you will have to walk about 150 m to the outdoor cafe “Männiku Kann”.

When can I take the theory exam?
You can take the theory exam after fully completing the curriculum. The exam times are a bit different in different classrooms. You can find the exact times on the “Contact” page by choosing a respective city. You can also make a call to a classroom of a respective city and ask for more information.
What happens if I have lost my driving school certificate (motor vehicle training course certificate)?
If the certificate is lost, we can issue a copy according to the current price list. The driving school certificate is necessary to finalise the final stage training.
